FUTURE CAPE COD
Towns are set to receive millions in new tax revenue.
Let's use it to invest in Cape Cod's future.
We’ve said for years we need to clean our water, have housing that’s affordable for our residents, faster internet, and better roadways. The choice has always been between taxpayers footing the bill or kicking the can down the road.
Now we have the money. Visitors staying in short-term rentals will soon pay the lodging tax (just like staying in hotels), providing Cape towns with millions. Let’s preserve our way of life on Cape Cod by addressing things like housing and wastewater without raising property taxes. Sign the open letter asking your local officials spend short-term rental money on long-term investments in your town.
